Fist of all, what kind of hibiscus - a tropical or a hardy one? Second, is it in sun or shade, what kind of soil is it in and how much water has it been getting? And where are you - at least which climate zone?

Yellowing could mean pests, it could mean too much water, not enough nitrogen - and sometimes it is simply shock as theplant has been moved from its accustomed location to a new one.

The most common cause is overwatering.

I'd also check for pests - examine the leaves carefully to see if you can see any sign of either the pest of pest damage.

With a tropical hibiscus yellowing can be triggered by any sudden change of light or water levels or cold shock.

The best thing you can do is find out the ideal conditions for the type of hibiscus you have and then do your best to give it to your plant.
