My question is this: Would you say that narcissism is on the rise?

It feels like an epidemic to me. It seems like so many men have this, and if they don't have all the symptoms, they have varying degrees of it.

Consequently, I stay a single mom and don't hold out much hope for any change in my status.

Could much of this disorder be a reflection of larger cultural values regarding male behavior toward women? I am just left wondering.

I have survived an abusive relationship, and I have to say that the articles here ring so true, and I applaud the author for his work.

It really helps to know that abusers are hard to spot - even by trained professionals!

Maybe now I can forgive myself for having been so stupid as to have let myself get into such a truly dreadful situation. It was a pure living hell.
