» hilside - Great article.. WDW is one of my favorite places in the world! A couple of extra tips I'd like to add:1. For the loooooong queues, pick up a FastPass. Many of the more popular rides and attractions have this feature. Just put your ticket in this machine, and you will get a stamped receipt that gives you an hour window later in the day when you should return. Go visit other attractions, then come back at that time, and you can go right to the front of the line! Be choosy, because you can only get one FastPass every few hours or so. 2. In your article, you touched on access for the disabled. Visitors can pick up a "Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities" at Town Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. This book lists each ride and attraction, and tells which can be boarded in your wheelchair, which you may have to transfer into a manual wheelchair from your ECV (scooter) for, or which you need to be ambulatory for. For the record, I use a wheelchair, and I cannot transfer from my chair, yet I have never run out of activities I could participate in at the parks. Usually, I run out of time long before I run out of options. Hope I've been some help! -- posted by hilside » KatieAnne - Re: Great article.. In response to message posted by hilside:These are two great tips Hilary. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to send them. It's one of my favourite places too! I can't wait for my little boys to be old enough to take - I want them to be old enough to remember it when they're older (oldest currently 3 years, youngest 9 weeks). Yet, I remember quite a few things before that. I was 9 the first time I went to WDW, and remember quite a bit. Can't predict memory, I guess. -- posted by hilside
