Thanks for your kind words Mary. My younger sister and I rarely see eye to eye on life, but when we were younger even she used to say that I'm fun to travel with because I organise things so that she didn't get bored! It was a skill learned from necessity - I love to read and am quite happy sitting on a transatlantic flight for 11 hours with a good book (always have been) but to get some peace I had to come up plans so that she could occupy herself! To turn a well known phrase on its head, necessity breeds invention! LOL

Now I'm the mother of a toddler and use some of these tips with him on our frequent flights to the UK so I know that they work.
