The OathRead the article this discussion is about

» chuckn - Congrats... on your new avocation -- or however you choose to define it, Brian. However, I must reprimand you for such stinginess with this postage stamp you're passing off as a picture. Please be a bit more generous next time with the beaming countenances of you (and I'm guessing) your wife and daughter. I've lost my magnifying glass. Of course, one of the reasons I never joined the armed forces was because if I ever had some emotional crisis that needed attending to, I doubt if I could have found an atheist chaplain to help me through it... Good luck with this and keep this topic going. P.S. I'm reading the Chernow book on Hamilton -- fascinating but it's the longest book I've ever read. I only recommend it if you have a few years handy with nothing to do. -- posted by chuckn » sandyw170 - The Oath Brian,I must say, well played. The gravity of this article balances the levity of your movie review. Also, I am proud of you for what you're doing. In my humble (HAHA) opinion, the cadet honor code is pretty cool too, so I will mention it here- A cadet will not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate those who do. They (you know) say that turnabout is fair play, so here it is. Topic choice-____________A minus Word choice (overall)-___B minus Title-___________________B minus Using the word "annals" without giggling like a schoolgirl-______________F (I know you giggled) Final Grade-_____________A plus (I am pretty generous) I promise not to start any online fights, tiffs, spats, brawls, fisticuffs, donnybrooks or hostile arguments. But, if someone posts a comment about my comment, the the proverbial (I know that there are no proverbs about gloves) gloves are off. All the best, -- posted by sandyw170
