» Renie_Burghardt - Peach of a Tree

Hi Tom, how nice that you'll harvest a few peaches off your little tree this summer. I have 2 large peach tress, and when they bloom, along with the pear trees, it's blossom heaven in my backyard. Each year, these peach trees are loaded with peaches. However, I never get to eat any of them, because insects seem to love peaches as much as I! At first, I battled the bugs by spraying the trees continually, but decided that I didn't like using all those chemicals, and now leave the peaches for the bugs, and am content with enjoying only the blossoms. The pears don't need any chemical's on them to present me with hundreds of pounds of fruit, so pears are what I get to harvest.

I enjoyed the article!
