» Carol Wallace - Lemon balm

I love the scent. But then I love the scent of lemon thyme, lemon basil - lemon anything! I only wish mine wouldn't self-sow quite so prolifically. When I wasn't looking it took over half my rose garden! But that isn't all bad - the scent of lemons goes well with the fragrance of roses.

» Atma - lemons and roses

Carol,
Yes, indeed, lemon balm is prolific! Funny, I've got some volunteers among my roses, too. The lemon balm plants that I pull out because they've ventured too far into other plants' areas are my harvest of this herb!

» WildCityWoman57 - About outdoor planting in Toronto

I have been raising lemon balm on my table garden this year - I'd like to put it in the ground under an old austrian pine.

Would I have a problem with that?
