of this place. I really enjoy your writing. I also want to thank you for coming by to visit.

Read you profile and find it interesting you have traced a family history back so far. I have tried, but my relatives were poor and did not keep good records. Also, babies were born at home, etc., and "home" was in many locations. I think I have Irish relatives (Landers) but cannot seem to trace them there yet.

Our history in the northern US is so new. And where American Indians were involved (one side of my family), they kept records through their storytellers. As the storytellers die off the history is lost.

Anyway, don't want to write a book here, but just want to say I do find this very interesting.
