In response to message posted by A1_Viking:G'day Donna! Wouldn't it be really exciting if we could prove we lived in the past! I wonder who I could have been in Tudor times? Please don't let it be the 'privy' maid! I would like to know I was some one close to Elizabeth- but not that close!!!
Cheers!
Wendy

In response to message posted by Gwenda:You're such a darling, as my brother is fond of saying, but usually after a few beers and it comes out as 'daaaarrrrrrling.'
Past lives, mmmm. I'm trying to think of what fascinates me. Anything medical, books like you wouldn't believe, and I always wanted to live in the days when they had no transport other than horses! I think I can explain that one though, I'm horsey mad. Hey I might be the reincarantion of Dr Quinn??
Egypt and Pharoahs, horses, archaeology, horses and all those things that are hidden and have yet to appear. Oh yes and horses. Maybe I was just a horse?? My favourite horse of all time Wendy, and you should appreciate this because he was Australian was 'Pharlap' What an animal and what a sad end, I still cry when I watch that movie and I've seen it 57,000 times. Or so my husband says.

In response to message posted by thebattwoman:You a horse, Beth? You make me laugh! Well, come to think of it, maybe I was too! My husband has called me a nag on many, many a occasion. But, seriously, it's so fascinating that we may have had past lives! Perhaps I knew you back then??? Perhaps we used to ride our horses together! That's a lovely thought! Do you know we Aussies couldn't bear to bury Pharlap -so we stuffed him? He's at the museum in Melbourne, and we Aussies all pilgrimage there sooner or later. Fair enough too. Pharlap had a great heart, in more ways than one, and we'll never ever forget him!
take care! Wendy

In response to message posted by A1_Viking:You should try and see the movie Donna, it's well worth the tears! This horse had heart that would put most of us to shame. He started winning and kept on winning, but because he wasn't a 'jockey club' horse the snobs didn't like it. So they kept piling more and more weight on his back, hoping to slow him down and he STILL kept winning.
Wendy, I would love to visit and pay homage to such a wonderful creature, maybe someday I'll get there. Who knows who we knew in our past lives, I wonder if this is why when we've just met someone, we feel like we've known them for years?

In response to message posted by Gwenda:Hi Wendy. I'm just popping on to the end of this Re: Re: Re: Loved the article and yes, like every other Melbournian, I just had to go and visit Pharlap in his new home.
