Thank you, Renie! I'm very pleased to read you're enjoying the series!

At the moment adorable Dave is still asleep, but I'm just about to wake him for his breakfast. I thought you might enjoy this photo of Dave and his dog Silba: <img src="http://www.suite101.com/files/topics/682..." align=centre width=250 height= 200

All the best! Wendy

Oh, how adorable! What a gorgeous little face! And the dog's cute too! Their colouring matches!
You know, for a while there, I thought I was NEVER going to find this photo... I'm still finding my way around here! If it didn't pop up here I was going to email you and ask for directions!
You know, this photo would make a lovely card! Have you considered having an artist paint a portrait from it? It's lovely!
By the way - sorry I haven't responded to your last email sooner! The last 3 nights - or should I say "mornings" - I've been sitting up to 4.00 AM finishing some copyediting work - tight deadline! I didn't have time to do anything else.

Gosh! Back to my site, eh? I'd better go back and check! Boy, this is really keeping me on my toes! smile Reminds me of mental tennis! Ha ha ha.
I was just thinking, your site would be brilliant for kids having to learn this stuff at school. I'll put the word around my friends who had kids of the age who probably would be studying history, and give them your site address.
See ya soon!

Hi Donna! Thank you so much for visiting! And thank you for offering to pass the word about my topic- but suite101 is loaded with wonderful topics. You know, there's a fun one just started, which I've just subscribed to, on Irish wolfhounds!!!

Sounds like you live a busy life- and boy do I understand how that can be!!! I would love an artist to do a portrait of all my kids- if I've ever some money (what's that?) in the bank I'll get it done! Cheers! Wendy

Oh, you are a sweetie, Wendy! How come I've just found this message of yours? I visited your site last night to read the discussions and I didn't see your Apr 28 posting! Must be because it was late and I was also trying to find some photos I'd uploaded and ended up asking Renie if she had some suggestions! Too many late nights I think! smile
My two naughty wolfies have provided me with several more articles this weekend! But I need to write these up! I've put up a couple of "quickie" articles for the next couple of weeks because I'm expecting a lot of work in and I want to be prepared! But this gives me time to work on better stuff!
What did the people in the tudor period do for toilets? Did they use toilet paper? I know this sounds like a tacky sort of question - I'm not even sure how it arose, but it did - I was telling a friend about your site - and we started wondering about what it would have been like to live in this era - the difficulties, or the benefits of a more simplified life? We were having a good yarn about it - then go to the subject of toilets... anyhow, I said I'd ask you!
Ha ha! smile Consider yourself "asked", Wendy! smile

» Gwenda - Come back Friday and read my answer!

In response to message posted by A1_Viking:

Hi Donna!
This is such an interesting question that I've decided to write up an article about it for Friday (11/5/01). Well- I did promise to provide here 'a detailed examination of the Tudor period,' and I hadn't yet finished my 'Women in the Tudor Times' article!

See you around too!
All the best!
