I agree utterly, Mary. I must share with you a funny story (well- kind of funny...well, funny now that I'm older and it's not important anymore) as to why I felt so drawn to the story of Elizabeth Tudor as a ten year old. In his prime, my father, to my child's gaze, looked a twin to a picture of Henry V111 at about 42. My father wanted sons, not daughters- so it didn't go down too well that he had three. I was his second daughter, my brother- the only boy- born two years after me. We girls soon learnt what that meant:'the prince had been born! Make way for the prince' It is good thing Shane grew up to be very decent bloke, and a very, very loved brother. Any way, this childhood experience sure made me strongly relate to stories of the Tudor sisters.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and sharing with me your enjoyment of my work!

All the best! Wendy
