Silver dollar question: damaged fins

i have had 2 silver dollars for 2-3 weeks (i got 1 more a few days ago) when i got my 1st ones there fins were fine but a few days later i woke up to see that there fins were damaged. is there any way to make them regenerate faster ( they swim fine with damaged fins i am just concerned that they might get some sort of infection there in a. 29 gallon tank i plan to move them into a 65 gallon tank (how many silvers can i fit in a 65 gallon tank)
