» blubearzangel - too many people
okay well i'm a part of the Australia Outback Adventure delegation.
I was really excited for this summer until I went to the first meeting. There were literally almost 50 people going!
Now my parents and I are reconsidering going. I mean, how can I get a chance to know all these people in 20 days? It seems like there will be a lot more chaos/confusion than learning/fun.
Any ideas?

Haha. You'll be surprised how quickly you get to know everyone. My last group was 44 people, and we still talk to this day. It is a great time; trust me. My largest trip was actually 55 students, and I knew everyone. Do not reconsider going; it is the best opportunity I know I had throughout my life. I do not regret any part of it. I have gone on seven trips, and each trip had between 40-55 people. I loved each and every trip!
