I was thrilled to encounter this wonderfularticle as the history of the Titanic has
long been a passion of mine. As a matter of
fact, I had applied to be Titanic editor, but
found out later they already had someone who
deals with that topic.

She wasn't one of the famous Titanic passengers, but a passenger nonetheless.After finally arriving in NY, she and her husband traveled all over the world eventually living in South Africa and later Oregon teaching music to children.
I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting her daughter by pure happenstance at a mall last year and she told me about her mother. I offered to buy her lunch just so I could her talk about her life and her mother's but she turned me down.
