Hi Steven..
This was an excellent article ... There is talent out there but your right ... They need real vision and guts ... they also need some good old common sense and pride to muster up the jam to GO FOR IT .... Unfortunately they also need connections, Maybe that s the problem , we keep getting reruns from the son, daughter and cousins who produce and write under their famous family names. The real raw talent is yet to be discovered. Really enjoyed this article. Thanks

Excellent article, Stephen. It's true that today's musical theatre is a business to make money and revivals of sure-fire shows are a better gamble than forging into unknown territory. Too bad for audiences, though. Quite frankly, if I see one more revival of the music man, I'm going to scream!!!
