Steven --

Thanks for the Chataqua background information on the OSF. I'd not known that before. I'm the new contributing editor for the Oregon topic. I thought I'd let you know that I've included a link to this article in my "Oregon on Suite101.com" links category.

» Barbara Nicholson Bell - Hi, Steven!

May I point out to you some additional community and small regional theater groups, that might be of interest:

Anchorage Community Theater, which is currently rehearsing The Children's Hour, by Lillian Hellman, and will be doing Damn Yankees in the spring.

In the Boston area, there are several fine small theaters with long, proud histories:
American Repertory Theatre
Boston Center for the Arts
Huntington Theatre Company
Lyric Stage Company
...not to mention the many theater groups at the colleges and universities, the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly, MA, and a variety of dinner theaters.

In central NY, there are myriad small amateur and professional theater groups:
Arthur Storch Theater, home to Syracuse University drama.
Capitol Theater, Rome, NY.
Cortland Repertory Theater, Little York Lake, NY.
Coyne Performing Arts Center, Le Moyne College, Syracuse, NY.
Happy Endings Cake & Coffeehouse, home to Contemporary Theatre of Syracuse.
Earlville Opera House, Earlville, NY.
Empire Theater, Syracuse, NY
Hangar Theater, Ithaca, NY
John H. Mulroy Civic Center, Syracuse, NY.
Kitchen Theater, Ithaca, NY.
Landmark Theatre, Syracuse, NY

Those are just the areas I'm familiar with. Thanks for listening!
