North Shore Music Theatre's adaptation of "A Christmas Carol"

I just wanted to let other members know a little more about our unique production, now celebrating it's 11th year - in fact we opened today!

This adaptation features music, the majority of which comes from Dickens' own time, woven together with original music to create a holiday mood that blends with, rather than changes, Dickens' classic story. This year, our production, directed originally and co-written by our Executive Producer, Jon Kimbell, won the 38th Annual MOSS HART Memorial Award in the Professional Category. This is a prestigious New England Award, given to a production that offers "affirmative views of human courage and dignity, which have strong literary and artistic merit, and which in their productions exemplify fresh, imaginative treatment within the intent of the playwright." We are very excited and proud of this achievement, and invite any members who are in the area to come to NORTH SHORE MUSIC THEATRE and enjoy this magical show. Happy Holidays to all!
