Do you remember a discussion we once had about how would it be possible to make a good Sci Fi MUD, and in your opinion Dina, is this it?

Also, do you suppose "Furry" MUDs are so populous because there are no human characters at all? This is what I gathered from your article anyways.

I think that mabey the level of chatting precedence could be that the players see it as a sort of costume party.

I think the reason they are popular is the material they present......the adult ones, anyway. At least that's the impression I get from people who play Furry-themed games. Also the social atmosphere attracts people who like talkers.

I don't think this is the best SciFi MUD out there. But it's a good one. I'm not sure there really is a "best" SciFi MUD...yet. (See my "Beam me up" articles.) I think there are a few good ones though, if I had to throw a few out I'd suggest this one as well as Federation and Otherspace.
