Hello, Brenda! It's so nice to have you here at Suite 101 as an Education Editor. If you should need some assistance in finding your way around this huge site, please feel free to call upon me. I visited your homepage and you have written some wonderful poetry. Is that picture of the baby and a woman having a picnic, a picture of you and Felix? It's a very nice photo. The baby is adorable!

Welcome to the Suite 101 team!

Hi, Brenda! One tip I'd like to suggest. Type in as many things as you can think of relating to your content in your meta tag area. It'll help your hard work to get more attention and be recognized in the search engines.

Thanks for keeping up the good work.

» RoslynT - English as a Second Language

Brenda and other readers -

It's always interesting to see how ESL students adapt to their English studies.

On our school's English pages (which I've just published) there are some ESL links (humbly presented though they be) on the FUN page.

We had two exciting student exchanges this year - one group from Japan and one from Beijing in China. Have a look at what the students had to say about their einter-cultural experience here:

» galho - Need Help...

Hi,
I'm starting to teach English for adults next month. I have an idea of what I want to teach them: I want to start with the ABC and some pronunciations, and then go to conversation. What I really need is a set of rules that I can rely on when teaching them (for example, when is the e silent, and when does it make the vowel before it sound different, etc.).
I would really appreciate any help...
Thanx in advance,
Gal.
