Can someone describe the technique to hit a kick serve?

well, i'm fine with the flat serve and the slice serve but how about the kick serve? i have so many problems with my second serve, i'd like to know what is the way to hit a kick serve?

Thanks for stopping by. You have posted a good question. Your problem with a second serve is shared by many.

The kick serve is very effective, especially with the spin moving either away from or into your opponent. Having said that, it is also one of the more difficult shots to master.

The motion for a kick serve is low to high, brushing the ball from about 7 or 8 o'clock to 1 or 2 o'clock.

If you're ready to try and learn a kick serve, start out at only about 75% or 80% power, maybe even less at first. Work on your motion and understand how it effects spin on the ball.

Practice. Practice. Practice.
