Just imagine days before this terrorist act, the world and we as a nation were enjoying the US Tennis Open and enjoying the beauty and fair play of sport. In response to message posted by sookietex:It's that old saying about "stop and smell the roses". Unfortunately, it often takes a tragedy to make us realize how lucky we really are. We all get so wrapped up collecting material things in this fast-paced world that we sometimes lose track of what's really important. One can only wonder how this will all play out in the history books as students 50 years from now read back on it, and how much things will have changed because of it.
