» Barbara Bell - I agree completely!

I do not understand the inability of most parents to be selective about the viewing habits of their children. I also do not believe the FCC should be telling us what we can watch and what we cannot, especially during the evening. These are the same people who allow daytime soaps to be as provocative and lurid as one can possibly imagine, during hours when young children presumably are more apt to be watching.

Now, here's my question for you, Colin:

Do you think "Joey" is a success? Has it caught the imagination of the viewing public who was obsessed with "Friends"? Can Matt LeBlanc carry this show alone, lacking the ensemble talents of the "Friends" cast? Personally, I'm disappointed in the show. LeBlanc is very good in his role, but after several weeks of being the main character of each storyline, I'm eager to see David Schwimmer or Courtney Cox walk in the door...

There's that little button, "off," that you push if you don't want your kids to watch something. I think we need to be aware of the atrocities of war as adults. It's happening now and it's no picnic.

The off button works well or theres a v-chip, or on most satellites and cable systems now when the show starts theres a little thing that says what the rating of the program is... Oh and hey if you miss all that after EVERY commercial break there a viewer disgrestion advised announcement.
