» NALocke - Great Topic!!!

Wow, Vicki, just cyber-stumbled onto your topic. It's terrific! Brava!

Technical writing is a tough gig that requires a quick and supple intellect, and disciplined writing skills. You seem to have all that nailed and a mordant sense of humor to boot. I'll be back.

By the way, I sent your tech help desk humor to the folks at a localization company for their edification and amusement. My friend there nearly fell on the floor when I read him the bit about the broken "cup-holder."

Best,

I looked up that article and, with the prospect of several days of writing instructions for some computer software, don't know whether to be inspired or appalled. I guess I'd better be inspired.

» VMTWriter - wa-hoo!

I'm so glad you stumbled this way! Technical writing at its dryest should never be boring. I hope that I can bring a little humor and my own sense of style into it.

Glad to have you as a subscriber! Come on back when you get a chance. If there is ever anything you might want me to address in this column, I'm always open to suggestions.

regards,
