I've done some manual technical writing for the state and I certainly think this is a great way to put it so folks know what it's all about. Since I don't do that anymore I tend to be rather lax in my directions.

Glad to see you enjoyed the article. Giving directions doesn't just go with technical writing, as we all know.


We should all pay a little more attention to how we tell other people how to do something or how to get somewhere. Sometimes we forget that they may not be as familiar with the situation or surrounding area as we are.
