A high school principal that I did some substitute teaching for (at his school) once told me he sometimes would trade all his high school teachers for elementary teachers if it was possible to do. Why? Elementary teachers seem to be less complacent and more into finding new and exciting ways to teach, he said. I don't know if that is completely true, but I do know that you get out of your students what you put into them...and if you just lecture in a dull monotone, then you will hear them snoring back at you....... good article, keep it up!
