Thanks Gay, seeing the kids (so grown) is wonderful for us. We will try and send some photos of our "kids across the street" to you by email. Jack wants to now how Kees is doing - he says to me every time I check your site - well, How's Kees? Why aren't there any photos of Kees?
Love you, will come back later, got to upgrade my virus protections......takes time with dial up.
PS don't tell Isobel how lovely she is - what a fabulous photo of her and Tom, and Fi and Jem - they set off your gardens and falling leaves so wonerfully! It is spring here, weather is still "iffy" (we'll be having frost for about a week a night). I want heat!

Dear Maggie

You must be puzzled at my silence. I am not sure what to email you yet, I am thinking of retiring from the Suite. Lots to think over.

Today is Friday, and Yes you have guessed it - Kees is strolling down the corridor again!

Received you invitation. We will come if you and Jack meet us in Dubai!!! Happy Birthday, dear Jack and remember, you are still a spring chicken - Ask Kees

Neat, neat pictures!

Thanks for shring them with us, Gay.

We have a new granddaughter - born April 18 - almost just in time for Mother's Day smile

Her name is Hannah Jane. Husband and I have been stuck with and are still fighting a viral bronchitis that is making the rounds here in the northeast, so we have yet to see her, let along hold her.

How frustrating, Georgene. It is usually the other way around here - the children pick the germ up at school and deliver it to their poor old grandparents :=] Next week end the Sydney "mob" arrive for 2 days. I hope that they don't bring a Sydney wog. I get a little nervous since haveing bronchial pneumonia for 6 weeks last year - Well, maybe it will be worth it, the little grandaughter is now walking and talking and I haven't seen that :=]

Congratulations and I hope you can hold her in your arms very soon.

Dear Gay and Kees
Our computer had to go in for a "fix up" and I have been so busy at work and with family that I forgot that the Suite wanted me to confirm my membership. Now done. When will you be in Dubai? One of my school principals was there at our (Mid) March School Break visiting a pilot friend that now lives there. He said it was: expensive, fascinating, and more. He said it was good to have a place to stay with folks who can help you out with the costs and the shopping and the tours. Dubai has risen to near the top of "far away" places we want to enjoy before we can't go there. Right now, its not good. We have a new puppy coming in early to mid July. He's a Labradoodle (cross between an English lab Mom (chocolate), and a standard poodle Dad (brown). This breed was first crossed in Oz, to be guide and assistance dogs that shed less and are good for allergy people. And smart. We did our research and went to this kennel after 3 reccomends and Jack being very unwilling to commit. Well, we wanted a good sized dog again that will make us get out of the house and walk and do training.....so for the third time, in our 33 years of marriage, have a "baby" to housebreak, crate train, take to obedience school, and keep us on our toes.
The Spring Chicken and his "hen" will e-mail you with more.
Love JJ and Maggie

Our accomodation is all payed for but when my class of school mates came, Margaret said to me "If you are going to Dubai, I must arrange to have coffee with a friend of mine. She was in Dubai last year. Yesterday I had to ring Margaret re the address in Sydney of a class mate who had left her sun hat behing. I mentioned Dubai again and while we talked it turned out that her friend had been to the garden [and loved it] with a group about 6 weeks ago! Apparently her brother has been living there for 3 years. So, I will be asking her re shops. All those Christmas presents for family :=] It used to be very cheap there but we have left it too late!

Labradoodle are beautiful - clever and loyal

Hope the birthday went well, Gay
