Depth of Tarot
This archived discussion is "read only".
» LaurieHolland - Hey Elizabeth, I have just wandered on to this site and am now fascinated by Tarot. I had no idea how much symbolism is involved and how Tarot can be used. Absolutely, because they span centuries, they must be involved in the collective unconscious, and I want to study the variety of decks to which your links provide an avenue. I'm also very interested in personality studies and didn't realize that the there were also cards pertaining to individuals. (As I said-I was ignorant) I could probably do some myers Briggs typing of Court Cards if I use the technique you describe in your first article on assigning personal meaning. I'm writing in a public forum, because I don't want to intrude on your 'personal mail.' I really love this site and will visit it often. What a luxury I have - I'm going ststraighto the links and choose a deck that appeals. I took a quick scan and am leaning towards the Russian. Amazing -how one click can provide a potentially life enhancing possibility. Thank you for your cogent, but colorful writing style.-- posted by LaurieHolland » LadyKelien - Robin Wood Tarot In response to message posted by zander770:The Robin Wood Tarot is actually a pretty good version of the tarot. It is is more Wiccan than Ceremonial. It also isnt a deck to use around children if your the type that believes its ok to allow children to watch violance on TV but have a problem with Janet Jackson baring her breast to the world. There are nude images that are anatomicly correct. I dont use the deck personally but I do own it. Its a rather beautiful deck. -- posted by LadyKelien
