» melgold - Sting's message from Tuscany... As the planned webcast began from Tuscany, Sting stood at the microphone and announced that in light of today's catastrophic events in New York and Washington, he could do any of 3 things: insist the show must go on, do nothing, or make a compromise.Sting's compromise was to sing a new version of "Fragile" in honor of those who lost their lives on this dark day in history. He asked for no applause; instead, a minute of silence for the "meaningless" loss of life. Sting is a class act, and I forgive him for his deal with Jaguar. :-)
