Yeah! I read Kev's article in 'Film Comment'.It is so great to hear from someone who truly get's these movies. And for a writer/director known for his deft handling of human relationships ( Clerks, Chasing Amy) to really see, and enjoy, the depth of humanity present in the Anakin & Padme love story was quite heartening to this film geek.
I know I'll be buying those issue's of 'Amazing Spider-Man' penned by Mr. Smith come January 2003. And I'll be one of the first in line when Kev return's to more mature work (after Jay & Bob Strike Back, and 'some portions of' Dogma) with his next cinematic offering 'Jersey Girl'.
