I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on this, not only what I cover in my article but also for the movie in general. Was there anything in Sith you didn't see but wanted to? Was there anything in Sith that was unexpected? Do you think it smoothly integrated the prequels with the original trilogy?

tell me what you think!

We saw the birth of the Empire, but I would have liked to have seen the birth of the Rebellion. Also, Boba Fett should have returned. Same with Jabba.

****SPOILER ALERT****

I always thought Vader became scarred from falling into a fiery pit, but we saw him catch fire on the "shore" of a river of lava. The ending was great, IMO.

Yep. Glad to see a young Grand Moff Tarkin (originally played by Peter Cushing) at the end.

I'd say it's the best movie so far this year.smile

I enjoyed seeing Grand Moff Tarkin as well toward the end. Did you know the actor playing that walkon part was Wayne Pygram, best know for portraying "Scorpius" in Farscape? I thought that was a neat tie-in.

And about seeing the birth of the rebellion. . . I'm thinking we didn't see that fully mainly because the rise of the Empire had just begun with Palpatine's rule with Darth Vader at his side. Most likely, once the senate was more fully rendered useless and the Empire's influence spread across the planetary systems, several years would pass and then the Rebellion would become more solidified and begin to take action.

Actually, in the original script ,according to Mr. Lucus, Ep. III did show the birth of the rebellion. However, it was taking up to much of the story, so Lucus changed the script to center around Anakin.

Sorry, didn't know that. I've never seen Farscape before (it's not my cup of tea), but I think I might know who you are talking about. Is he the guy with the pale skin and leather mask thingy?

Did you know the girl who played the Queen of Naboo is the one from the award winning film, Whale Rider?

Oh well, glad to see another SW geek here. I was beginning to think I was the only one.smile
