» millertyme24 - great article

I found Mr. Robinsons article to be very articulate. He took a different and risky approach to the truth. Money talks BABY.

Hello again, Jerri. Bill Gates is a good fit for a Major League owner because he wouldn't interfere too much (he's got bigger things to worry about!), and Jeff Bezos is losing his shirt in Amazon.com, so my Magic 8-ball thinks that his chances of being a great owner are DOUBTFUL. R.J.

Really. I thought Jeff was finally making headway. You're right. Bill Gates would be good, because he likes to advertise his "accomplishments." But why not the Mariners?

jerrib,

Call me soft, but I would prefer Gates taking up the cause of a bottom-of-the-barrel small-market team rather than a mid-market team in Seattle. The Mariners already have a spanking new ballpark and solid ownership. The Twins desperately need a new ballpark; the Royals and Pirates just need to spend money to keep their young players. R.J.
