» Tom - Rush Who?

Great article Roy! You’ve outdone yourself this time!

It’s about time someone had the courage to put that fat pompous ass in his place.

Hopefully the Florida criminal justice system will cover the rest of him over with the dirt that he’s earned through his extracurricular activities, i.e., the illegal use of illegally purchased prescription pain killer drugs.

It’s possible that the drug story may have been enhanced some to make it a better feature for the Inquirer rag, but generally, where there’s smoke you’ll find some evidence of fire.

The former maid may have lied some about the amount of times that he actually purchased the drugs, but taped conversations don’t lie.

Let’s hope they build a strong case against the hateful loudmouth and make it stick!

Conservative broadcaster Rush Limbaugh, one of the most influential radio commentators in America, confessed to his millions of listeners last Friday that he is addicted to prescription painkillers and is checking himself into a drug treatment center. He also acknowledged that "authorities are conducting an investigation" but said he was not at liberty to offer further details until the probe is complete. Rush claims to have begun taking painkillers years ago when they were prescribed to him for pain he was suffering following spinal surgery. The disclosure follows recent media reports, first surfacing in the supermarket tabloid the National Enquirer, that Limbaugh was under investigation by the state attorney's office in Palm Beach County, Florida., where he lives. The tabloid had interviewed Wilma Cline, who said she became Limbaugh's drug connection after working as his maid. She said Limbaugh had abused OxyContin and other painkillers.

» NYCScribe - Guess what Rush Limbaugh

Apparently Donnovan McNabb actually is a pretty decent quarterback, and not just praised because he's a black man or due to the fact that he prefers Chunky soup to painkillers. Despite the loss of his top receiver, McNabb has led the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl.
