» NYCScribe - Exquisitely moronic timing

Just when it seemed that Bud Selig was leaning towards reinstating Pete Rose, published reports have come out claiming that Pete is gambling openly on sports in Las Vegas. Apparently the leopard still has his spots, and baseball commissioners are pretty adamant about not letting leopards into the Hall of Fame.

» NYCScribe - Confession At Last

After nearly 15 years of denials, Pete Rose has finally come clean and admitted he bet on baseball while manager of the Cincinnati Reds.

The career hits leader says in his soon-to-be-released autobiography, "My Prison Without Bars", that he hopes the acknowledgment will help end his ban from the game, which could lead to his induction into the Hall of Fame.

Commissioner Bud Selig has yet to comment, except to say that he hasn't read the book yet

Maybe "Mr. Hustle" will make it into the gambler's hall of fame..... <img src="http://www.suite101.com/files/topics/836...">

The fact that he bet on baseball when he was a manager doesn't have anything to do with his statistics as a player, he deserves to have is place in the Baseball Hall of Fame!
