» MasonJarr - Blinds in Texas Holdem I'm playing in a Holdem game and it gets down to 4 people at my table. The guy across from me has the dealer button, guy to my right has the small blind, I'm the big blind, and the guy on my left is under the gun. The hand ends up with the small blind guy going all in and losing. On the next hand (where I should have been the small blind), they tell me the dealer button stays with the same guy across from me and I have to post the big blind again and there is no small blind. Is that right? I post the big blind and the hand is played out...I don't remember the outcome. The next hand I get the dealer button, but now they're also expecting me to post the small blind. I know this is completely screwed up now, but can't convince these guys they were wrong. My thinking was that after the small blind went all in and lost, I should have been the small blind on the next hand and the guy on my left should have been the big blind. Does anyone know the "definitive" answer in this situation?-- posted by MasonJarr
