» charlesmason - Has anyone else read this new book?

I recently read this amazing book by Jonathan Kingsley and I wanted to bring it to all those in Suite101. What the back cover says about it is within inverted commas below:

"Many people would dearly love to turn to God in order to find something deeper in life. Yet they often find this too difficult when faced with the fundamental conflicts between the Holy Bible and science. Remarkably, this book manages to bridge the credibility gap and show that, while science vainly strives to establish a theory for everything, this can only be achieved by accepting a single, intelligent force behind the wonderful unity of creation: God.

Using straightforward language free from all metaphysical jargon and employing helpful analogy and powerful, logical argument (supported throughout by scientific fact and Bible secrets revealed in the context of modern knowledge), this book evokes a beautiful picture of harmony throughout all creation. The amazing result is that total acceptance of the Bible no longer requires any denial of modern science and anyone can claim the wonderful gift of a logically derived Christian faith.

As the cosmic jigsaw is deftly assembled, conflicting views are shown to be merely complementary aspects of the same truth. The completed picture reveals a beautiful simplicity that is its own best advocate. Seeing it will inevitably change your view of life – and the after-life!"

All I can say is that everything it says on the back cover is well justified! Here is a truly enlightened view that can really offer a logical bridge between science and religion. Do read it - and let me know what you think!
