» Zanzi - Fascinating!

How does all of this relate? I'm not sure. Maybe I'm "connecting the dots" in a nonsensical way.

However, as we explore spirituality and its relationship to our physical existence, water seems to be important, if only as a symbol.

This was a fascinating article, and it is amazing just how much water plays a role in faith, lore, as well as everyday living! Do you have similar insights on air (i.e. wind, etc.)?

» _Boanerges_ - water and blood

Is water one of many connections between our physical world and the spiritual? We have too little evidence to make that kind of claim, but the question is worth considering.

1John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

There are three that bear witness to the truth of salvation by faith in Christ:

(1) Water — the Word of God (see John 19:34, 35);
(2) Blood — the death of Christ for our sins, resulting in forgiveness (see Ephesians 1:7); and
(3) Spirit — truth (Acts 1:4, 8).

The Holy Spirit must work before anyone can be born again. He takes the Word of God and applies the blood of Christ for forgiveness of sins.
