Merlin's sister, and the Green Man

We have no lineage for Nimue, but she was not Merlin's sister as far as any legends I know of. She was sought to be his paramour. And in these legends where Merlin sought to be her lover, he also had perfect foreknowledge. Meaning, he knew that she was going to spurn him and shut him up in a cave.He taught her everything he knew. He knew she would not reciprocate. He did everything to woo her anyway -- knowing he would fail -- because she was that alluring. The heart won over the mind as it is wont to do.
But nowhere have I encountered Nimue-as-sister. Which legends can this be found in?
