I adore fried squash. :-) But I must say I've come to enjoy it baked a little bit more. Summer squash or crook-neck squash is one of my very favorite vegetables.

Since frying foods is such a big part of southern cooking, I'm plannig to do a few articles on chicken-fried steak, fried chicken, fried veggies and so on. We'll have to get the Crisco out! :-)
