Just a thought for folks who have even less time than it takes to use canned biscuits in chicken and dumplings.... My grandmother switched from using biscuit dough to using flour tortillas that she cut in strips. They made great dumplings. She swore that they were better than the ones with biscuit dough. I can't swear on the comparison, but they were good.
