The Search for the AnswerRead the article this discussion is about
This archived discussion is "read only". « Previous 1 2 Next » » RoxianneM - Re: Re: search for positive currents In response to Re: search for positive currents posted by plox:Those are great words to motivate and inspire your search. I don't know if you're a writer, but one book on Flow that I enjoyed was Writing in Flow. (Of course, I noticed an error in the article while re-reading it; too bad I can't fix it!) I'll have to see what other books I can find that are based on these terms. I'm planning to do a piece on finding your path, and flow, synchronicity and connection definitely fit the theme. -- posted by RoxianneM » plox - Re: flow In response to Re: Re: search for positive currents posted by RoxianneM:How I got here... I knew if I used the same title "Where am I?" for a discussion here as one there, it would catch Jeff's eye when it showed in the "new discussions" list on the Religion&Spirituality welcome/forum page. -- posted by plox » RoxianneM - Re: flow In response to Re: flow posted by plox:This topic was a part of Religion & Spirituality until last week, when it was switched to Wellness & New Age, which seems a much better fit. Now if you search in R&S, you probably won't find any of my articles listed. -- posted by RoxianneM -- posted by plox » RoxianneM - Re: flow In response to Re: Re: flow posted by plox:Yeah, it does seem as if I can breathe a whole lot more easily these days. I used to enjoy the Spiritualism topic in R&S, and I know there was a Unitarian Universalist topic at one time. I did once toy around with the idea of adopting that one, but decided against it. -- posted by RoxianneM » plox - Re: good will In response to Re: flow posted by RoxianneM:It's just a fact of life: New Age sites have people of all spiritual/religious beliefs including Christianity, and Christian sites are either mono-belief or in an uproar, or both. -- posted by plox » IMADAG2 - Re: Re: good will In response to Re: good will posted by plox:Hi Roxianne. Free and responsible: When I've read 'robust' discussions elsewhere on what is "free" and hearing what is the "responsible" thing to do with one's life...I guess I was under extreme pressure to not let that one slip by. Without coyote medicine, I understand, "this world would be very drab and dreary indeed" and re the other coyote..roadrunners are too fast for me. I have not read Hitchhikers Guide nor am I a Trekkie. And I speak Strine, not Yankee...a multiple disadvantage in accessing suite101. I'm afraid, being American, I can't accomodate you on your preferred version of English, though ;-) I think I'm going to have to ponder the idea of an irresponsible search ... Wonder where it would take me? I am too riddled with the notion that, no matter what we do, there's a cost. I strive for a balance, though if you saw my house (especially my office), you'd swear I was ruled by the gods of Chaos. :-) My goal in life: to stir things up and make people think. And maybe do some healing along the way ... -- posted by RoxianneM » plox - Re: Re: good will In response to Re: good will posted by RoxianneM:My goal in life: to stir things up and make people think. -- posted by plox » RoxianneM - Re: good will In response to Re: Re: good will posted by plox:Stirring things up is easy, especially since I'm married to a Coyote :-). Making them think is the tough part. I think I like to shake people out of their complacency, shove them out of their ruts. If nothing else, it serves to remind me that I need to get out of my own well-worn path & try something new. -- posted by RoxianneM « Previous 1 2 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
