I vote for us finding alien artifacts on Mars during this century. We will have lots more answers in due time. It's just that due time is too far away. # I also vote for mining the asteroid belt. I'm convinced that there are many commercial ventures in the solar system that the next century visionaries will try to exploit. In Moonbase III, I explore building oxygen generation plants on the moon so that fairly conventional liquid rockets could use our own satellite as a refueling point. I'm in my 3rd rewrite.

Very interesting idea!!

I just finished John Keel's "Our Haunted Planet" which deals a lot with aliens and the oddities in our galaxy. It really was a thought-provoking read--but I find all his books thought-provoking. smile

And I agree with you, we will see a vast commercialization of space, maybe sooner than one would think!
