I still think that Hoagland had an interesting view of Mars. Is there life there? Probably not. Was there some sort of life forms there at one time? Probably.

Hi Henry, I agree. I have a "spooky" article coming up in time for Halloween that introduces my young (and young at heart!) readers to the "Face on Mars". That has always intrigued me, whether it is a relic of a bygone civilisation, or just a natural coincidence. smile

My first novel (Moonbase III) started out on Mars with the pov viewing the face and the pyramids. I changed the first chapter, however, when the later satellites failed to confirm its existence. Alas, it is still a novel in progress going through its fourth rewrite.
