Maintaining (not building!) positive self-concept: The hidden secretRead the article this discussion is about

» Sue59 - The hidden secret Hi MarilynThe timing of your article was quite fortuitous. I was amazed at the different tracks our children had taken, and how her girls had become quite wild. Where I had been all prepared for my girls to head down a wild track as I did, and they haven't at all. I was trying to work out why, for I felt we brought our children up with similar ideals. I didn't think I had that great self concept, but have always believed and taught my children that they, as themselves, were important. And never be walked on or lead by the nose. I am not patting my self on the back, for one never knows what's around the next corner. But the conversation and your article, just made me aware of the importance of our self-concept for ourselves and family. Thanks -- posted by Sue59
