» Lrapp - I agree... Without the support and strength of parents, children will certainly fall through the cracks and lose their motivation in becoming healthy emotional adults. It is so sad that so many caregivers just don't know how to support their children emotionally. When children are stifled in this manner, they can become withdrawn and isolated. I too have worked with many children who fall into this category of low self-concept and emotional turmoil. Thank you for sharing your article...it will surely spread the word.-- posted by Lrapp
