» jane1229 - Network Marketing I think the networks believe they are marketing to very nonfeminist women - the men are so often "protecting" woman from themselves and from life's trials and tribulations. How many times does a soap character utter the line "I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you?" 10 times a day. They are catering to that fantasy of a man taking care of you. Even career women will have that from time to time. In entertainment, it may not necessarily be such a bad thing; it's not meant to reflect reality but to be escapism.-- posted by jane1229
