» AnneWatkins - Awwww!

How precious! I loved this part when I was breeding cockatiels. The babies are so sweet, not even as big the ball of my thumb, and just teensy balls of yellow fluff. Thanks for sharing this! Very well written account of the arrival of a new chick in the family. Looking forward to more of the story!

» BirdyMuse - Thanks!

Well, they're bigger now (see the latest installment). smile I'm not sure what to call the big one, perhaps, I should host a contest here on Suite101.com? Name my bird?
I do love feeding my "babies," and though I love finches (in fact, run Finches With Wishes http://www.finches.org/), I really do miss it when I don't have any "babies" to feed.
All the best to you and your birds,
Mary
