» pamela_saint - Of bears and berries Sandy,I smiled continuously as I read your lovely Mae/bear articles. I wish my mother had the same perspective when I was young and stuck inside with my list of chores. Once when told to shovel the snow off the driveway, I devised a brilliant plan: pots of boiled water tossed on the driveway would melt the snow and save me much physical labor. Needless to say, I never had to shovel again! Happy spring! -- posted by pamela_saint » SandyMcC - Re: Of bears and berries In response to message posted by pamela_saint:That's funny, Pamela! I remember the same list of chores, but my dad did the shoveling. We didn't have a place of honor either, we got an allowance. A quarter every week, and you can bet we bought 50 pieces of half-penny candy! Hope your holiday is fun-filled and happy! -- posted by SandyMcC » Sunbear - Perspective Great article, Sandy!Truly enjoyed reading this. Great photos too. Went back and read the earlier one also. Enjoy these tales out of Alaska. You know how to make the stories so interesting. Regards, -- posted by Sunbear » LiberLupus - hi 8) I very much enjoyed the story, both yours and Mae's. How very true, and how often overlooked. Thank you, I hope that my perspective will respond as well as yours.-- posted by LiberLupus
