He loves playing with those other dogs, and he slept all afternoon when we got home yesterday! -- posted by SandyMcC » SandyMcC - Re: How gorgeous In response to message posted by jerrib:Hi Joy, The little doll with the icicles is Ivy, and she's three years of cuteness in one body! Four pups get to be a little much for her at times, but we all had fun. Thanks for coming in to read, I'll 'see' you soon, Friend! -- posted by SandyMcC » Red - delightful... Sandy,This article is delightful. I wish I could have been there with you, but alway like joining you for a cyber hike. Harley is doing great, isn't he? I am so glad that he found such a wonderful family to call his own. The photos are great. Makes me yearn for a good hike in the forest. Thanks for inviting me along on this fantastic adventure. Take care, my friend. Lots going on down here. -- posted by Red » Mary Trotter Kion - Wolves This was precious. I didn't understand who the big husky-type dogs were. One sure looked like my dog, Sibu who is a husky. I just loved this story. Do more on the dogs with some more pictures. I'm subscribing so I won't miss anything. Thanks, Mary Trotter Kion Women of the West -- posted by Mary Trotter Kion » SandyMcC - Re: Wolves In response to message posted by lastword:welcome, Mary, All the dogs you see in the photos are the dogs the article is about. The mother has a little Siberian Husky in her, and it shows in a couple of the pups' tails! Good eye. Thanks for subscribing, I hope you enjoy what you find! -- posted by SandyMcC » Sunbear - Wolves Hi Sandy,From an outsider's perspective, Alaska seems such an interesting, beautiful place. Of course it is in reality too! I loved reading this about your outing with the dog and wolf pups. We have encouraged a lot of independence in our Beagle/Spaniel mix and from observations of her as well as other independent dogs, have noticed a tendency for them to take up howling like wolves do. Our dog almost never barks now, but communicates with us with various howls. I suppose the fact that we (especially me) howl back may have something to do with all this "singing." Anyway, this was a delightful article. Thanks for sharing our Alaska journey with us. I loved this article and the photos. It must be so wonderful to be able to hike in the wilderness like that -- it surely sounds and looks wonderful -- cold, but wonderful! I'm glad to read that Harley is getting better! -- posted by Tina_Coruth « Previous 1 2 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
