» jerrib - I listened

to some of the "sounds," Sandy. I wonder if some of them are the energy you are putting out. Do you have an exceptionally strong, expensive recorder?

This is really interesting!

» SandyMcC - Yes, Jerri,

Yes, Jerri,

My recorder is one of those new digital jobbies. smile It picks up lots of things, and your suggestion of it being my energy output is interesting, I'd never thought of it. Some of them do sound like pure energy, huh? Or, what I'd imagine pure energy to sound like....

Thanks for reading! Have a great holiday season!smile

Sandy,

Alaska is so steeped in history, these sounds could indeed be those who died in the area. It is also possible that some of them are energy.

As you know, I do believe in ghosts. They don't always manifest themselves to us, but I do believe they are around us. Most have no reason to make their presence known. Some do. Then there are others that are downright nasty as the one I wrote about at Halloween.

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with us and also for the link to my article. I do appreciate it and treasure your friendship. I just have to come for a visit. That house sounds intriguing. I'm sure there are lots of local sights that I would enjoy.

Hi Mary,

Yes, I knew you believe in ghosts too, and more people are finding it acceptable these days. How can they not, I mean pretty soon the whole ghost population should equal ours, right? Perhaps even exceed ours by now. Sooner or later someone will stumble over bonafide proof! smile

We have one recording in which a girl asks, "What's your name?" and the soft reply is "Jane." We also have one where that question is answered with a series of numbers. Hmm... The house where Jane answered us is on a famous board-walkway that once housed Creek Street's famous prostitutes. I'm very interested in finding out more about Jane.

Thanks for coming in, Mary, I always enjoy your visits. Have a very Merry Christmas! smile

» tjodray - EVP

I loved this Sandy!!!I have fiddled some with Electronic Voice Phenomena and Raudive Voices
"Intelligible voices recorded on magnetic tape under conditions of silence or white noise which is then heard only when the tape is played." It is always so very interesting to hear what is on the tapes. I look forward to reading or should I say hearing more on haunted Alaska very KEWL ~`*

Sandy,

I too am very interested in finding out more about Jane. If you investigate and gather information on her, please let me know. Or possibly you could write an article. I look forward to hearing about this spirit. Sounds intriguing.
