» bbleigh - Excellent Article!!!

"I'm actually proud to be an American now, and so proud of my son, it brings tears to my eyes."

As a military spouse, your article brought tears to my eyes. I know the feeling. Everytime I see my husband in uniform it wells inside. I sleep good at night knowing that he stands between my family and all that is evil in this world.

Everytime he has to leave, it leaves a hole in my heart but the pride takes it's place.

Thanks for a wonderful article.

» Red - tears...

Sandy,

I am not a military Mom, but can imagine how I'd feel if my grandsons grew up to join the Armed Services.

As I read how much you and your son had grown together, I had tears in my eyes too. This was a very inspirational and touching article.

You and your son should both be very PROUD of his contribution. Marines are fantastic!

My prayers are with you and your son as we all join the fight to stamp out terrorism. Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience with me. Keep up the good work.
